So I blew off voice over work to go camping this past weekend. We went to Cottonwood Lake; nice drive, gorgeous area. Totally forgot how insanely crowded the east side of the divide gets, though. My idea of camping is getting away from your neighborhood, not bringing it with you! Should have stayed home that night and done some recording...
So we hightailed it out of that area and went up into the high country on the west side of the divide. We had a gloriously peaceful time in some of the most beautiful terrain in the rockies.
The Doors said it all when they said "the West is the Best"... Just don't tell anyone from the other side of the hill. ;)

Distracted from the Voice Over Work I Should Be Doing
Wow. I should be editing my latest voice over recordings right now, so I can go fishing in the high country with my family this weekend. Instead I got caught up in putting together this blog.
Looks like I'll have to pull an all-nighter to get out of town early and guilt-free. Recording is done, have the imaging all ready; just need to edit the VO and mix it all down. This is like the home-stretch...
